When I think about Annie Gail Embroidery, I don't immediately think about the logo.

I think about Tricia.

She's made the sweetest embroidered pieces for my kids, so when she reached out about creating a brand logo for Annie Gail Embroidery, it felt incredibly special. I already knew the love and care she poured into every order, and getting to help create the face of something she'd been dreaming about meant a lot to me.

From the very beginning, she knew exactly how she wanted her business to feel. Sweet, timeless, and full of heart. She wasn't looking for something trendy.

Every detail had a purpose. Every color was intentional. Even the embroidered stitching woven into the flower wasn't just there because it looked pretty. It was a small detail that represented the craftsmanship behind every item she touches.

One of my favorite parts of this project wasn't actually designing.

It was the conversations.

We probably spent more time texting back and fourth about what didn’t work versus what did. I'd send over a mockup, and she'd tell me exactly what she loved and what she didn't, and we'd keep building from there. She never worried about hurting my feelings if something wasn't quite right, and I never wanted her to settle for something she didn't absolutely love.

There were definitely moments where I thought another direction might have looked better, but this project reminded me of something I'll carry into every client relationship.

My job isn't to create my favorite brand. My job is to create yours.

Looking back now, I don't see the concepts we didn't choose.

At the time, Annie Gail Embroidery wasn't even its own business page yet. She had been sharing her beautiful work on her personal Facebook, and this branding became the beginning of something bigger. Getting to watch her take that leap and create a space that was truly her own has been such a joy.

Watching Annie Gail Embroidery continue to grow has been even sweeter because I remember where it started.
